Smoking Cessation Clinic

Contact reception to make an appointment with our smoking cessation advisor.

Family Planning

A full contraceptive service and HRT monitoring are available. Postnatal checks are done at six weeks by the nurse. The doctors provide advice on pre-conceptual care and sterilisation counselling. A fully trained family planning nurse is in attendance. Other services are available at the Wolverton Sexual Health clinic in Kingston.

Well Baby Checks/Immunisations

Childhood immunisations are carried out by the nurse. Your child’s six-eight week check is carried out by the doctor. Your health visitor will be able to give you more information about this.

Asthma/COPD Clinics

Appointments are available with the nurse for regular monitoring of your treatment.

Diabetic Clinic

Appointments are available with the Nurse for an annual review of your care and treatment. You will be invited for your annual diabetic check

New Patient Checks

All new patients registering with the practice will be required to carry out a New Patient Check on the surgery pod located in the waiting room area. A receptionist will be able to help you use this. This will include a small questionnaire on your alcohol intake as guided by national NHS Policy.

Pneumovax Vaccinations

Available all year, this is recommended for patients with chest problems and other chronic diseases, older patients, and those in nursing and residential homes. Please discuss with the doctor.

Travel Clinic

This clinic is carried out by the Practice Nurses. Please complete a travel questionnaire two months prior to travel. Some vaccinations are chargeable.

Chronic Disease Clinics

Nurse-led clinics regularly monitor patients with asthma, diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, cardiovascular disease and COPD.
